as usual, thanks. not sure why I need this reminder so often, but I clearly do as it strikes my heart afresh each time you post.
I think we all need reminders from time to time. I was going through a rough period at work a couple of months ago and had to go back to square one to think about what God has called me to do.
reading back through posts after reposing "osama" on FB - hope that's OK with you.
I think part of my problem is that I do the only thing I know of that I can earn a "good" living at - science. I do not quite know if that is what God has called me to do or not and I feel like a lot of the time I'm so busy trying to do that and serve in my local church, I'm not sure how to discern what it is He really wants me to do.
Halfmom - I understand but do you not also feel a sense of purpose in your work beyond "earning a good living"? I suspect you do...from what I can tell. However, if not, I'm curious - what kind of work would you rather do if you did not have to "earn a good living"?
