Amen to that. The truth as it is in Jesus. And reminds me of wisdom writings in Scripture, such as Proverbs.
very well said. brings to mind that we should endeavor to succeed by applying these christian principles and have our success measure by the application of them. that is, the goal is God's glory, for us via salvation and sanctification, and the means that He uses to achieve His goal are our professional circumstances. we should take a bolder more diligent and excited grip on our circumstances with the confidence of Nehemiah. ultimately the only releveant meaning, food, and success that we can find in our work is defined by His workings toward His goal.
Work better, yes. I guess that sometimes we fail to believe that. Maybe because it doesn't always seem so on the surface.

LL - I've often wondered - are there areas of work where the idea of servant leadership may not be as effective? For instance, how does a Marine drill instructor demonstrate servant leadership - does it look different for that individual...just wondering
Would the Marine drill instructor then be a servant leader by exemplifying the ideal excellence of the soldier... but having sight of the perfections of Christ to behold and with which to fill his stare.
