Conversations on the Glory of Christ in Business and Culture

Good quote.
Those words remind me of Job after hit with great personal loss and disaster. He worshiped (Job 1:20-21). This was the kind of person he was, and when afflicted with painful sores he did not sin in what he said, and had to rebuke his wife for telling him to curse God and die (my wife would never tell me to do that, by the way).
And so we have the book of Job due in no small part to the character of Job through grace. But a good challenge to me.
Worship. Yes. It leads us to look beyond ourselves.
Ted - thanks for your thoughts...Job definitely experienced the transforming power of worship
LL - the essence of worship - taking our eyes off ourselves and looking at Christ
