Me too ESI - I went through a very legalistic period when I first really started trying to be "like Christ", thinking that I needed to do the conforming. When I think back about the lack of grace I extended to others, I'm pretty sad.
Now - I surely try to err on the side of extending extra grace, figuring there's almost always some information or a perception I'm missing.

The fact that we can see one without the other is an anomaly I don't think I will ever be able to get used to.
Craver, not only is such orthodox "ugliness" on display but sadly I have been an example of this at different points in my life.
I'm very much afraid this is all too true. It's stripped of grace and thus of the truth as it is in Jesus.
