Quote of the Week

"It is quite natural - actually quite easy - to be enthusiastic if your work is prominent, but less natural the more hidden it is, as the conductor of a great symphony orchestra revealed when asked which instrument was the most difficult to play. 'Second violin', he answered. 'We can get plenty of first violinist but to get someone to play second violin with enthusiasm - that is a problem!' "

R. Kent Hughes, Disciplines of a Godly Man, p. 153

it is interesting, there is a part of me that likes being behind the scenes, serving in anonymity, I do gravitate there, but, then i find this small voice screaming inside me -- NOTICE ME! THINK WELL OF ME!!
Such a conflict.

Jimmy - Thx for being so honest and transparent - I think you described well what many experience from time to time
