"God works strangely. He brings order out of confusion, harmony out of discord... God often helps when there is least hope, and saves His people in the way that they think will destroy.... God's ways are past finding out (Rom 11:33). They are rather to be admired than to be fathomed"

sounds like a good book, ESI. I know that He is a God of order, but I wonder if He ever allows disorder and discord and massive confusion without and within - because that is what reveals things to us in a way that harmony never would - what do you think?
Thomas Watson is a Puritan writer and one of the more readable ones.
You make a good point about disorder and discord - it would seem God does permit it - at least for the time being - after all, the world we live in is testament to that. God will unite and bring to order all things under Christ on the last day.
