"There is not one little blade of grass, there is no color in this world that is not intended to make men rejoice"

encouragement for persevering the humidity and mosquitoes in columbia, sc.

do we not complain out of weakness, cowardice, and sloth?

yet His creation is so vast it is deafening to take in all at once.
Wow. What kind of God is He? And
we get to meet Him, in person.

do you think we will have to wait in line?

Ah, I like the French spelling there! Yes, a wonderfully gifted mind and person of God.

If I get what he's getting at, it is a wonder, this world of creation.

We're to see each little part as part of the glorious whole, and the glorious whole somehow related to each little part. All have their place, including us, in this wonder of our Father's world.

I'm interested to get the point of the quote better. But the color in this world is amazing, every shade of every color we can imagine, and then some- surely. Seen everywhere we turn, including the birds and family of rabbits in our small yard, even in our suburban/urban setting. Deb, my wife, feeds both the birds and the rabbits. And I don't feel so bad about some of the weeds and vegetation other than grass, I presume they feed on.

Mark - I completely expect to be at the end of the line but I think I'll be glad to just be there.

Ted - I was wondering if anyone would be intrigued to click the link to find out more about Jean Chauvin. More to the point of your comment - I'm actually the kind of person who is so oblivious as to miss the subtle glory of God in non-dramatic,everyday mantle of nature. It's the kind of reminder for us - all this is created to bring us joy
